What is the best content for the SSC CGL Tier 3?

Online Pdf Writer SSC has recently released its exam date and result status on its site. As per it, for the first time in SSC history, this time cgl 20 mains is going to be held on a single day which was a long standing demand from the candidates especially after that ill-suited normalisation in cgl19 mains. I will say it is entirely benign for the deserving candidates. I am hopeful that exam level would get better this time. Intuition is telling me that this time the difficulty level of english exam is also going to return to its former position (before tcs era). So prepare better for it this time. Now coming on your question regarding the preparation for mains, here is the complete strategy which I followed. I hope it also works for you. For Maths-. These are the 4 key points which are going to decide your fate in mains. 1) REVISION- First of all revise your chapter wise notes and all those tricks and methods which you leaned by any of the teachers. 2) TCS QUES- Tcs started taking ssc exam since cgl 18 took place. As we all are familiar with this fact that tcs tends to repeat its questions so it becomes imperative to revise tcs questions as many times as you can. 3) MATH'S CAPSULE- I jot down all the formulas, geometrical concepts, arithmetic tricks, shortcuts, trigonometric identities, algebraic expressions etc in a 📒 of 75 pages. I used to revise this capsule everyday in the morning. It help me memorize all the formulas, tricks and concepts. ⤵️ 4) MOCKS, MOCKS and only MOCKS- The more you attempt the mock tests, the better you get score. I will recommend you to go for Textbook and supermocks test series. You have to attempt one mock of msths every day. Do the thorough analysis and note down the mistakes which you are doing persistently. If the provided solution is better than yours, note down it. Note all the questions which are puzzling you. Do revise them regularly. ➡️ THE MOST IMPORTANT POINT- Nearly every serious aspirant knows all these things which I mentioned above. So the difference comes at exam hall- How you handle the questions and mental pressure with great aplomb Prowess of skipping the time taking questions How much you are attentive to avoid silly mistakes Your speed of calculation Your state of mind and calmness during the exam How briskly your mind react to the questions (i.e visualisation of structure of solution of the ques) I came across a no of candidates stating that inspite of good preparation, t couldn't pass the exam just because of these above mentioned points. So I would suggest you to pay attention on these points along with your preparation. I always say that SSC CGL exam is still an easy one but the one thing has changed i.e margin of error. At present, you can't do mistakes at exam. if you do, you will out of this rat race. ———*———*———*———*———*— For English Now a days, this section has become quite easy. In competitive exam, English is all about understanding. Generally we divide this section into three parts- a) Grammar- I would say that Neetu Singh's vol 1 + Christopher Phoenix's "The Masterpiece" are more than enough. b) Vocabulary- The Blackbook by Qmaths- It is the compilation of all previous years vocabulary. c) Reading and Comprehension- This part is again depends upon how you understand the english language. I used to read two or three articles of any english newspaper and it really fruitful as it will help your vocabulary usage in sentences and better understanding as well. For practice, I would suggest you to do previous years questions (exams conducted before 2017) from MB Publication by Ajay Kumar. For Mocks- You can attempt mock on alternate day from Textbook or Oliveboard plus Tube's free mocks on sunday. P.S -. I personally didn't need to work on my calculation because I was always very good at this since school time. So if somebody thinks that he/she needs to work on it, so I would suggest you to spend atleast 30 min on it. So, that is what I want to share my strategic planning with you. I hope this helps you achieve your dream post in the upcoming years. Best of luck to all CGL 20 warriors☺️. 🙏🙏
