Write on PDF: All You Need to Know

My PDFs are usually better than they have to be. I do have a small problem though when printing. It prints text but it also prints symbols. For example the LaTeX symbol he is the same symbol on the PDF that it is printed as in Word. Some people think I should just have a single document or maybe use a Word processor to do what I do. I guess in the long run I'll pick one. I'm looking at WordPerfect 6.4.3 and Microsoft Word Professional for Mac. I have found online PDF makers such as the one at TeXit.com. Text offers a nice previewer and I use it to look at the output. They print directly to the PDF which is nice. You can open the actual PDF, however, so I use it to create preview links. If that does not work I will try opening the PDF with Adobe.
